Be a Culture-Changer

For many of us, today is a national holiday. What’s the big deal? It’s Martin Luther King, Jr.’s birthday. This might be somewhat irritating; banks are closed and mail is not delivered—even our garbage men have the day off.

Maybe there’s something we should notice about why this day is important to memorialize. Martin Luther King, Jr. is most noted for his “I Had a Dream” speech. What made Martin Luther King, Jr.’s speech historical and memorable? Here’s the transcript.
