Today is Worship Wednesday, a time to thank God and celebrate the life and many musical contributions of Christina Grimmie.

Take a moment to pray for Christina’s fans and family as they grieve the loss of this amazing artist and gifted woman of God.

Christina Grimmie, the 22-year-old singer and former contestant on the TV series The Voice, was shot and killed after a performance last week. The gunman then turned the gun on himself. Christina’s family gathered to remember the star at a memorial service on June 10, with her brother, Marcus, who tackled the gunman to the ground, making an emotional speech.

“I don’t have anything to say, I don’t have words still and it’s a good and bad thing. All I’m going to say is thank God for the mark that she left on this world,” he said.
