Worldwide Wednesday: Pray for the Unreached People

Nick Sartoris of Mission 111 is in Sierra Leon, Liberia embedded into the “Bom tribe” a people group who has never heard the name of Jesus.

“As it is written, How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news.” Romans 10:15

“O Lord, God of Israel, there is no God like you in heaven or on earth —you who keep your covenant of love with your servants who continue whole heartedly in your way”2 Chronicles 6:14

So what does the name of God — the God of Israel have to do with missions? A lot, actually. Appearing 195 times in the Old Testament, this name of God – ‘The God of Israel’ shows the Lord’s sovereign rule over the nation and people of Israel. According to, “God of Israel may refer to God in Judaism, God as understood in present-day Jewish theological discussion.” And yes, the people of Israel are God’s chosen people. But God loves and has a plan for all people. God loves people. He wants everyone to have the opportunity to know Jesus Christ as his or her personal savior. Isaiah, the prophet, had a vision of the Lord of hosts on His throne. Isaiah 37:16 He continues, “O Lord of hosts, the God of Israel, who is enthroned above the cherubim, You are the God, You alone, of all the kingdoms of the earth. You have made heaven and earth” Isaiah 37:16

Now that’s proper perspective. Did you know approximately 16,300 ethnic people groups are considered unreached, less than 2% Christ-followers, that’s over 41% of the world’s population?  The body of Christ is the vehicle God is using to share His love with the nations. This fulfills His purpose in availing His plans, power, and presence with all who will receive Him. 2 Peter 3:9 “The Lord is not slow in keeping His promise, as some understand slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing for any to perish, but for all to come to repentance.”

Today our special in studio guest is Nick Sartoris who began working with Joshua Campaign and helped develop the Mission 111 model of mobilization.

He organized groups from churches in the United States and Sweden to search out unreached people groups in the bush of Ethiopia and Madagascar. He is experienced in dealing with the unknown, the unexpected and is bold in championing the unreached. This led him into leadership planning and implementing large Gospel Festivals.

I hope you stay tuned for this exciting interview.
