Thank you for your prayers for our Chosen Women Africa Trip. We are thankful for your support. Praise God with us for the opportunity to impart sustaining practical and spiritual tools to women in leadership to strengthen their businesses, ministries, and lives. (BTW: Yes, there were also men in leadership and pastors who joined in with our training!)
Chosen Women team (l to r) Sheryl, Marnie Swedberg (Warroad, MN), and Sharon Hurkens (Long Island, NY) meet in person for the first time in Amsterdam at the boarding gate to Nairobi. It truly was the dream team!
The women’s business conference shows overwhelming attendance in Kiliminni, Kenya. The conference room overflowed, so Pastor Samuel rented a tent. We are thankful to touch so many lives. All glory goes to God.
Sheryl connects the Gospel Outreach Evangelical Ministries staff and board members with a visit to the ATS Kitale campus. (Upper left corner is the new ATS principal, Rev. Dr. Patrick Marunga.)
“I keep asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may give you the spirit of wisdom and revelation that you may know Him better.” —Ephesians 1:17
A testimony from Sheryl’s message on forgiveness at the pastors’ conference, Pastor Issac (on the left) from Rwanda shares how he chose to let go of his hate over those who murdered his family in the genocide. Bishop Mike Wafula (r) was encouraged as the regional pastors reconciled their hurt and decided to work together instead of being suspicious or threatened.
Pastor Henry shares how he now understands what he must do to forgive those who hurt him early in his ministry. He is excited to go home and share with his wife and congregation how they must do the same.
The women’s business conference attendees in Nairobi, Kenya, are proud to show their certificates of achievement for completing the conference.
“I pray also that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance in the saints, and his incomparably great power for us who believe.” —Ephesians 1:18-19
Thank you for your partnership!
